Our Custom Handmade Jewellery Process

A well-designed piece of jewellery is about more than looks, it’s about comfort, sentiment and ultimately about your journey.

Your project will begin with an initial consultation either via email, skype, telephone or over coffee if you’re based in Auckland. The meeting will give us the opportunity to go over the details of your project such as design ideas, budget and timeline and to address any questions you may have. We’ll use the information we obtain from this meeting to give you the most accurate design plan and estimate.

Phase One: Design

Your project will begin with an initial consultation either via email, skype, telephone or over coffee if you’re based in Auckland. The meeting will give us the opportunity to go over the details of your project such as design ideas, budget and timeline and to address any questions you may have.

We’ll use the information we obtain from this meeting to give you the most accurate design plan and estimate.

Phase Two: Computer Aided Designing

This phase is where your piece starts coming to life in a tangible 3D mock-up or a digital CAD model and rendering suite. One to two rounds of feedback and revisions ensues, depending on the complexity of the project. We will then present you with a final design for approval.

Phase Three: Creation

Our jewellery is created using the latest tools, machinery, and processes combined with traditional handcraft skills so that your commissioned piece is of the highest quality.

This phase is by far the most intense phase and it begins with the prototyping and casting process followed by a round of precise cleaning and hand polishing; transforming the rough casting into a beautiful mounting, ready to be set.
