The factory that make our jewellery in India is no different. They employ 98% women and strive to empower and give them independence through opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable to women. The art of jewellery making is very much a male-dominated industry, therefore for a jewellery making workplace to be dominated by women is very rare. Through these opportunities, these women are empowered and able to grow and support themselves and their families.
