Hi, I'm Sha
If you've ever put on a pair of earrings or a necklace and suddenly stood a little taller... Then you already understand why I do what I do.
Because jewellery has never just been jewellery to me.
It's confidence. It's identity. It's joy.
It's a quiet reminder that you don't need permission to celebrate yourself.
◈ MY STORY
I was born in Fiji to an Indian father and a Chinese-Italian mother, and I grew up surrounded by the vibrant cultures of the Pacific.
My childhood was colourful. There was always laughter. Always food. Always family. Always women who somehow made an ordinary Tuesday feel worth dressing up for.
The women around me were strong, resilient, generous and full of life. They celebrated each other loudly, loved fiercely, and taught me that confidence wasn't something you waited for—it was something you chose. Those women shaped me long before I ever designed my first piece of jewellery.
My culture isn't just part of my story. It is my story. It has shaped the way I see beauty, family, generosity, community, and the kind of woman I hope to be every single day.
◈ WHAT IF TODAY IS THE OCCASION?
When I was 23 years old, I lost my mum. Losing her changed the way I looked at life forever. I grieved not only the loss of my mum, but the life she never truly had the chance to live.
It reminded me that tomorrow isn't promised. And it made me realise how many women spend their lives waiting. Waiting until they've lost the weight. Waiting until the kids are older. Waiting until work settles down. Waiting until they've finally earned the right to spoil themselves. Waiting for a special occasion.
But what if today is the occasion? What if the life you've been waiting to enjoy is already here?
That question has stayed with me ever since. These days, when I sit down to design a piece of jewellery, I'm not thinking about trends. I'm thinking about the woman who's spent years putting everyone else first.
The woman who's been waiting for the right time to celebrate herself. The woman who's convinced herself she'll buy the jewellery after she's lost the weight... after she's worked a little harder... after she's earned it.
◈ I DESIGN FOR PACIFIC WOMEN
Here's what i believe: Worthiness was never something you had to earn in the first place. Every piece I create is designed to remind you of something that's always been true:
That you are worthy.
Not because of what you've achieved. Not because you've reached another milestone. Not because you've finally given yourself permission. Simply because you're you.
And if one woman puts on a pair of earrings, walks into a room with a little more confidence, asks for the promotion, starts the business she's been dreaming about, leaves the relationship that no longer serves her, or simply looks in the mirror and chooses herself again ...then every piece I've ever designed has done exactly what it was meant to do.
"You don't need a special occasion to celebrate yourself. You are the occasion."
With love,
Sha xox
