Some pearls are beautifully smooth. Some have a little ridge. Some have a dent or two. And sometimes the pearl with a tiny imperfection has the most incredible glow.

Those little differences give each pearl its own character – and I think that's part of what makes Tahitian pearls so special.

Every pearl is beautifully unique - different in colour, shape, surface and personality.

◈ HOW WE CHOOSE OUR PEARLS

We look at the whole pearl - its lustre, colour, shape, surface and overall beauty. Natural markings do not discount a pearl when its lustre and colour are exceptional.

◈ LOOKING FOR A HIGHER GRADE PEARL?

If you prefer a cleaner, near-flawless pearl, we can help. We have access to higher-grade Tahitian pearls, including A-Grade pearls, which are rarer and priced accordingly. Please contact us before purchasing so we can source options for you and provide a quote.

◈ WHAT ABOUT BAROQUE PEARLS?

Baroque pearls have a more organic, irregular shape. You may see curves, ridges, dips or rings. This isn't a fault. That is the beauty of baroque.
